Shipping and returns
How to order
Our fabric is sold in half metre increments and so if there is 4 units available then there is a total of 2 metres to purchase. If you wanted 1 metre you would put 2 in the amount box on ordering.
Trimmings are sold by the meter, unless otherwise stated, 1 unit = 1 meter
Buttons are sold per button, unless otherwise stated, 1 unit = 1 button
Wallpaper sold per A3 sheet unless otherwise stated , 1 unit = 1 sheet
Shipping
All goods are packed with love and care, wrapped in bubble wrap and brown paper.
All orders are despatched 2nd Class Recorded Delivery via Royal Mail (or equivalent). Certificates of posting and insurance certificates are always obtained.
Postage charges are calculated per unit dispatched and includes a small amount for packaging. The amount will be added at the end of your order so you can see the postal charge before you commit to buy. The buyer pays all postage charges.
Deliveries to the UK are £2.00 plus 20p per additional unit purchased
Deliveries to the Rest of the World are £4.00 plus 20p per additional unit purchased.
Delivery schedule, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days but please allow upto seven working days at busy periods. If there is any reason that your order will take longer to despatch, we will contact you immediately to let you know and provide a revised delivery time.
Payment
Spinster’s Emporium does NOT see and therefore does NOT store your credit card details. All payments with credit cards are completed through Paypal.
Payment can be made safely online with PayPal using any major credit card. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay on your credit card via PayPal. When you have completed your purchase you will be directed to a secure page. All payment is to be made in £Sterling. International transactions will be converted to £Sterling automatically by PayPal making it easy for you to use.
Returns
Please note that all the fabrics and haberdashery are vintage not “brand new” and as such may not always be in perfect condition. We always do our best to describe any faults and try to take photographs and write descriptions as accurately as possible.
In the event that you are unhappy with your order refunds can only given in the case of gross misrepresentation and in accordance with the Distance Selling Act. Please contact us immediately as notification of your desire to return the item has to be authorized and received within 7 days of arrival.
